Summary:

For those hosting an event on campus which requires either Campus Computer access or wireless access use the following instructions.

Instructions:

Please send an e-mail request to ITSupport@grcc.edu at least 24-48 hours before the event is set to occur.  Be sure to include:

  • The name of the event/organization
  • A GRCC contact, including contact number
  • If they will be bringing their own computer(s), or if they need to use a campus computer
  • How many people will be using wireless or campus computers
  • Time frame of the event (beginning to end)
  • Event location

The event login will be set up the morning of the event, the GRCC contact will have to call the IT Customer Support Desk that morning. We cannot provide the login information to anyone other than the designated GRCC contact.

Please have all visitors using our wireless or campus computers sign off on the attached GRCC Event Sign-In & Request Form. This form must be sent back into the Support Desk before the end of the day of the event. Our fax number is -3373. 

The login will only be good for one day, should this be a multiple day event we do require that the GRCC contact call the Support Desk each morning of the event. If there are any new people attending on the additional days please provide their signatures by the end of the day of the event.
